First Aid Training Program Successfully Conducted at Diktel English Secondary Boarding School

Diktel, Jestha 9 – A one-day First Aid Training Program was successfully conducted at Diktel English Secondary Boarding School. The session was led by respected Health Assistant Mr. Santosh Bajimaya as the chief trainer, while the school’s own Health Assistant, Mrs. Apsara Khadka, facilitated the program.

All esteemed teachers of the school actively participated in the training. The session provided practical knowledge and skills on essential first aid topics such as handling sudden injuries, controlling bleeding, managing unconsciousness, sprains, and burns.

During the opening ceremony, MR ISO (Mission for Recognition – ISO) representative, respected Mr. Lal Prasad Ghimire, emphasized the importance of first aid awareness in schools. He expressed that having immediate medical response systems in sensitive institutions like schools is critically important.

The Principal of the school, respected Mr. Dhanakarn Shrestha, expressed his belief that such training programs help enhance health awareness and responsibility within the school community. He also informed that 7 First Aid Boxes will be installed in necessary and accessible locations throughout the school.

The school administration believes that this training has prepared the entire teaching staff to provide appropriate and immediate first aid in case of emergencies.
